Hi all,
I am looking for a health insurance plan and want to keep my costs down. One of my options is a "saver" plan with a premium that is 20% less than the regular coverage. I am also looking at a hospital-only plan which is even less. My agent is advising against the plans. I think it is just because he wants me to pay a higher premium so that he can earn a more as commission. Please advise!

Hi! I had worked for ICICIPRU Life Insurance in Health Department. I had to generate business but I couldn’t do so because in India people think that taking a health plan in just wastage of money. But people should realize the importance of health insurance. Suppose you are a business man & you got sick, at that time you are unable to make profit as well as you have to bear the expenses of hospital. So, you are in loss from both the side. But if you have a health insurance the expenses will be bared by the company. So I think that taking a health plan is very useful for every person who is working because no body knows tomorrow.
